Stupidity and Cleverness

"Some say that poetry is stupid,
Some that it's too clever.
For undergraduate rhymes for Cupid
I hold with those who favor stupid.
But for more 'post-modern' endeavor
I must give irony its due
And say that for detachment clever
Will also do
and..." Oh, whatever!
