Train Catching

River sleek the rail-
road runs, under the trellis
and into the trees.

A slow breeze ripples
the shadows. Under the leaves
the track flows swift, sure -

a steel current, glanced
with light. The man on the bridge
dangles his line. Waits.

Train as a fish? Very nice.
