When the power failed, he realized he hadn’t saved a copy of the note. The one where he explained about his life. It was a good note. It had been a good life. He had been about it to finish it. He wondered if he could get it back now.
DumbShe says I have to stop talking to myself. It freaks her out, she says. No big deal. I mean, it’s not like I’m addicted or anything. Hell, I’ll do it right now: “I do solemnly swear never to talk to myself again”. There. How’s that for resolve?
