Thou shalt not use more
than seventeen syllables
to write a poem.

The sun approaches:
Raise high your arms! Banish shad-
-ows! Set the birds free!

Mandatum novum:
Blessed are they who have found
a new man to date.
Of shoes -- and ships -- and sealing wax -- Of cabbages -- and kings -- And why the sea is boiling hot -- And whether pigs have wings.

nice haikus- its a real gift to be able to make them with such meaning just as they were meant to be written
