My guard stood hard when abstract threats
Too noble to neglect
Deceived me into thinking
I had something to protect
Good and bad, I define these terms
Quite clear, no doubt, somehow.
Ah, but I was so much older then,
I'm younger than that now.
- Bob Dylan, 'My Back Pages'
Responding to popular appeal [1], and assisted by Varna's painstaking instructions (hat-tip Desipundit) and the priceless moral support of Mallikarjun Mansur, I've finally pigeon-holed the posts on this blog (all 281 of them! Sigh!) into a bunch of impossible to understand and difficult to use categories. Hopefully this will discourage those few of you who have any interest whatsoever in browsing through my archives from fishing out things I said months ago and using them against me.
I've also added these cute little links at the bottom of my recent posts that say 'Categories'. My enthusiasm for adding them ran out around post 24, which explains why there aren't (and will probably never be) similar links on all previous posts. Try not to take it personally.
[1] Hey, one person actually mailed asking me to put categories, and it only took me some fifteen minutes to convince someone else that it would be a good idea to have them. That's more public demand than there is for nude pictures of Keira Knightley. So there.
P.S. Unfortunately, because of the way I added them to the site, the posts are in reverse order - so the earliest posts are 'latest' on del.icio.us and vice versa. More confusion. Same price.

hmm. i'm pretty sure searching for "nude pictures of Keira Knightley" is now going to throw up your blog as one of the search results.
Heh. Cheap thrills for what you've called the section in your sidebar.
Heh: Throw up is right.
Megha: :-). You didn't expect me not to use Shakespeare did you? My initial heading was 'Though this be madness, yet there's method in it' - but it just came out looking too unwieldy
True, should have expected the Hamlet reference. (Considered naming the other sections, as well?) The cheap thrills were more for the 'great minds think alike' thing though. (Pliss to see our blog categories, if we still don't make sense.)
Megha: Yes, I saw that after your first comment. Was being polite by not mentioning it. People generally don't take kindly to the idea that they might think like me. They worry that the shrink's bills might be too much for their modest budget.
Cool guestbook, interesting information... Keep it UP
